CHEATS
PS2:
Hint: Easy win:
After completing the game you will be prompted to select a cheat.
Choose teleportation. You will have to press your special and
R1 to use it. If you are playing two player or exhibition mode,
set the match to one round. Hit your opponent a few times then
keep teleporting for the rest of the round and you will win.
When creating a boxer, give him a the Body Blaster as his special
move. During the match, throw a few jabs and back away. Wait
for your opponent to move in and hit him with the Body Blaster.
It should stun him. Hit him with it again. Continue to do this
and you will knock him out in no time. This can be done in all
three weight divisions and works almost all of the time. Also,
if you find yourself in trouble, try the Backhand (elbow) followed
by the Body Blaster. It either takes off a good amount of energy
or stuns them, leaving them open for the Body Blaster.
Hint: Better created character:
When creating a character, set his heart, power, and speed high.
It is important to have the heart to be high. If you jab a lot
then throw a punch, it will work much better than just bashing
the buttons.

Bunch Of Useful Hints:
Keep moving in the ring. Success depends on dodging, leaning,
and knowing when to step away from your opponent.
On offense, set your opponent up with a stiff jab and then
finish him off with a hook, or a nasty uppercut.
Try to look for patterns in the way your opponent attacks.
If you can work out his fight plan, you’re halfway to
a win.
Jabs aren’t designed to knock your opponent out. Set
him up with a jab, and then finish him off with a hook, or uppercut.
You can adjust the thumbstick sensitivity in the Pause menu.
Experiment with the various levels to find out which one works
best for you.
You’ll have to change your tactics as you face different
opponents. The same approach won’t work against every
fighter.
The closer a Rating gets to 100, the more it costs to improve.
So spend those points wisely!
Hit the “Y” button to preview your opponent's stats
before starting the fight! This will give you a quick summary
of your opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
You can fight your opponents in any order on each tier of the
Career Pyramid. If you are having trouble getting past an opponent,
try skipping him and coming back to him later when you've improved
your fighter.
Be careful not to punch yourself out. Punches that miss cost
more Stamina than punches that connect. The better your fighter’s
performance in the fight, the more likely he is to rise again
after a knockdown. Heart is the main factor in how many times
he’ll get up off the canvas, but how the fight is going
is also important.
Listen for your Trainer while you are out there fighting. If
he thinks you have your opponent in trouble, he’ll let
you know!
When your Health gets below 50%, you’ll feel your fighter’s
Heart beating in the controller. The faster and harder it beats,
the closer you are to taking a seat!
Don’t let your Stamina drop too much during the fight.
Low Stamina will affect how quickly you recover your lost Health.
When creating a boxer or sizing up an opponent, make sure to
pay attention to Speed. Remember: Speed Kills!
